Scaling Back
I pitched my game idea in class, but my teacher said I’d have to scale it back. Instead of a full town-dungeon level I’m going to have to just do the dungeon and basic fighting, no boss. Well, I can always expand on it over summer.

Going for the First Level
I have decided to expand my project proposal to be the first level of an RPG instead of just the battle system. That just means one town and one dungeon. Hopefully that shouldn’t be too hard.

Pitching the Battle System
As I mentioned yesterday, I am going to pitch this game for my XNA midterm. Actually, as the title suggests, I’m going to pitch the battle system for the game. What I’m going to pitch is a one-on-one fighting system using the mechanics of an idea I had a few semesters back. I don’t want to say too much, but it involves a few character stats and a luck element of tossing two D10s.

Maybe Making the Game
I have to propose a game for my XNA (Windows/XBox games) class. I think I’ll propose this game, or at least the basic version because of time constraints.
